Hormones
Hormones are the chemical messengers of the body which communicate with our various organs and tissues. Hormone imbalances occur when we experience too high or too low of a hormone level. These imbalanced levels can be the underlying cause of diagnoses such as polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and hypothyroid. They can also lead to the development of symptoms such as hormonal acne, mood changes, hot flashes and night sweats. As a practitioner who focuses in hormones, I work with both men and women to support their hormones naturally and find a balance so they can feel their best.
